MUSIC WORKSHOP
Beginner Level
- Introduction to Swaras and Basic Taals/Rythm Patterns in Hindustani Classical Music
- Vocal Warm up techniques through simple vocal exercises. Practice of basic Alankaars
- Introduction to one basic Raag
- A Brief Discussion on Hindustani Classical Music and its advantages /effects on Human mind, body and soul
Master Class
Requirement: Proficiency in music (vocal or instrument) in any world music genre and interested to explore Hindustani Classical music. Workshop includes:
- Intensive exploration of Indian method of learning and practicing
- Indian improvisation techniques
- Overall exploration of Indian Raga system
- Basic exploration Indian Rhythm system
- Introduction to one basic Raag
